There are those times when you really want something, but you don’t quite know what this something is. The more you think about it, the more the desire becomes strong but elusive … Does it happen to you as well? Our advice to overcome this annoying situation is the following:
# 1- Decide if your desire will be better satisfied by something sweet or salty. We know that there are people who will find this choice very easy. It’s very easy for us, my sweet tooth always prevails, while my husband’s preference, in most cases, is towards something salty. It appears to us that, apart from a few exceptions, women always have a tendency for sweet things whilst men prefer savoury snacks, do you also think that this is so?
# 2- Choose simplicity!
# 3- Open the pantry and the fridge and see what’s available. Surely you’ll find something edible ?, otherwise, arm yourself with a little time and patience and go shopping! Remember that choosing the best ingredients will ensure the best results! If you have to choose a cacoa that costs a few pounds more, don’t make the mistake of choosing the cheaper option because you think “they are all the same”. A couple of pound extra won’t make a big difference to you, but I assure you that in a world where everything must be as fast and as cheap as possible, spending that little extra money ensures you a much more attentive production, higher hygienic standards, and a higher quality product.
# 4- In the hope that you have decided for the dessert, we are all set, because the recipe that we propose to you today is the recipe for the softest cocoa and raisins cake there is! There is only one way to know if it is true, (it is !!!), make this soft cocoa and raisins cake yourself and let us know what you think … we are sure that with a bite you will reach the seventh heaven!!!
