CBD, which is short for Cannabidiol, is just one of over 100 active compounds called Cannabinoids which can be found in Cannabis Sativa L. Hemp.
Unlike THC, the most famous of the Cannabinoids, CBD will not get you high.

When it comes to the amount of CBD you should take, there is no one-size-fits-all and it all depends on you and your individual needs.
We recommend taking around 1-2 tsp, anywhere between 1-3 times per day. See what works best for you.
If you are new to taking CBD, you might want to start off with 1/2 tsp at night before going to bed.
We do not advise taking more than the recommended daily limit of 200mg per day

Coconut Oil is rich in essential fatty acids, like Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) which bond with the Cannabinoids found in Hemp.
Since Coconut Oil has a higher saturated fat content compared to Olive Oil or Hemp Seed Oil it improves and increases the absorption of CBD into your body.
-
You’ve opted for a Full Spectrum Hemp Extract, so why settle for anything less with your coconut oil.
MCT Oil is a byproduct of the soap industry
Coconut Oil is rich in Lauric Acid which is very good for you and can also be used to make detergent. To get the Lauric Acid, the coconut oil is heavily processed to break apart the fats. Once the Lauric Acid has been removed, the remaining fats are put back together, called MCT Oil and missold as a health food product.
We spared no expense when it came to choosing a carrier oil for our CBD Extract.

Hemp Oil
Hemp oil, also called Hemp Seed Oil is made from the Hemp Seeds and only contains traces of CBD if any at all.
Hemp oil is also considered a food product, unlike CBD oil which is a food supplement.Hemp seed oil is rich in polyunsaturated fats like Omega 3 and Omega 6, Vitamins A, C, E and β-carotene. It is rich in minerals like phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sulfur, calcium and a good source of protein.
Unrefined Hemp Seed Oil is made by pressing the hemp seeds to get a dark green coloured oil that is nutty in flavour.
It’s great for salads or added to juices and smoothies. Hemp Seed Oil has a low smoke point so it’s not good for frying.
Refined Hemp Seed Oil is clear and colourless, with little flavour. It can be used for food products but it is primarily used in body care products and industrial uses.
Hemp Extract
Hemp Extract is made from the Whole Hemp Plant.
It’s a dark and sticky paste, with the full spectrum of cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, fats, waxes and chlorophyll that are found in the Hemp plant.
It can be further filtered and refined removing various properties and changing its colour to amber.
CBD Oil
CBD Oil is essentially Hemp Extract mixed with an oil carrier, such as Hemp Seed Oil, Olive Oil, MCT and Coconut Oil.
-
Yes. CoccoMio CBD Coconut Oil is perfectly legal to purchase and use.
In the United Kingdom and Europe, as long as there is less than 0.2% THC and the CBD was produced from one of the EU registered and approved Hemp plants, it’s fine.

Hemp and Marijuana are essentially two different strains of the Cannabis plant. Each with their own properties, characteristics and uses.
Marijuana
Marijuana is the generic term for all of the various Cannabis strains that are grown predominantly for their flowers which are rich in THC.
Marijuana has been used for centuries for Spiritual, Recreational and other purposes.
Fun Fact: The UK is the largest producer in the world of Marijuana with GW Pharmaceuticals being the only company to have a license to grow. I guess it helps when the manager of the hedge fund that owns 40% of the company happens to be Theresa May’s husband, our former Prime Minister.
Hemp
Hemp, also called Industrial Hemp is a strain of the Cannabis plant that has been grown for thousands of years for its strong stalks.
Hemp was used to make the paper we printed our money on.
Hemp can be used for a variety of items such as textiles, rope, clothing, paper, biodegradable plastics, paint, insulation, building materials, bio-fuel, food, animal feed and the list goes on.
Hemp produces very little THC if any. However, it does have other Cannabinoids, such as CBD which are proving to have many uses.
